Terms and Conditions

(1) A deposit of 50% of the total contracted cost will be paid to Transporter prior to shipment of said horse(s). Deposit is to be paid within 5 (five) days after signing contract to hold delivery date for client. Deposit may be in the form of personal check, cashier’s check, cash in-person or may be made online with credit card at Transport website via PayPal at time of contract signing. Pick-up/Deliveries will not take place until checks are cleared. Deposits are non-refundable.

(2) Remaining amount of clients quoted cost (after deposit) is due in full before or at time of delivery. Balance before delivery date is accepted as cash, bank check or credit card through Transport website via paypal. Balance at time of delivery will be accepted as Cash or Bank Check made Payable to Windrunner Transport, no personal checks unless prior approved by Transporter. The balance must be paid before or at time of pick-up or delivery PRIOR to unloading any horse(s). NO EXCEPTIONS.

(3) Windrunner Horse Transport is not liable for the death of the horse(s), or any injuries sustained while in transit. The Windrunner Horse Transport strongly recommends that the OWNER carry full liability and major medical/mortality insurance on any horse(s) being transported. If the OWNER does not carry insurance the OWNER assumes full responsibilities for the loss of the horse(s) should any loss (death or injury) occur.

(4) Horse Owner agrees to reimburse Transporter for all veterinary services, drugs and other medical supplies in the event of an emergency or as the Transporter deems necessary for the well-being of the aforementioned horse(s). These fees are to be paid in full before the horse(s) are unloaded.

(5) Any damage to the trailer or equipment caused by your horse. We will (fairly) estimate the cost of repairing the damage at delivery and this amount must be paid PRIOR to unloading your horse(s). If the actual cost is more or less than that estimate, we will supply you with a written estimate or bill from the repair facility and make an adjustment with you.

(6) If payment is not made on or before delivery date, the horse(s) will become the property of Windrunner Transport and the horse(s) may then be sold. Money from the sale of the horse(s) shall be used to pay the SHIPPER’S fees: any remaining money from the sale will be forwarded to the OWNER. If the sale of the horse(s) does not cover the total amount owned to Windrunner Horse Transport, the OWNER remains responsible for the difference. Other fee’s that apply if payment is not made: Boarding $25 per day, per horse. Farrier services, Veterinarian care. There is a $100.00 cancellation fee.

(7) Additional Charges may be added to contract for such variables as including tack in shipment, difficult loading/unloading horse, foaling charges and special care (medical) of owners horse(s)
